The Intelvi Valley which lies between Lake Como and Lake Lugano, is famous not just for the beautiful scenery it has to offer but because it was the homeland of the so-called Intelvi masters, a group of architects, stone-cutters, builders, stucco workers, decorators, artists and sculptors whose work was carried out both in their valley and in the rest of Europe.
