On the eastern shore of the Lario and with a wonderful view over the central part of the lake, Varenna can be appreciated walking along the famous and romantic “love promenade” built on the water by the lake.

The experience can be completed admiring the churches in San Giorgio square and visiting Villa Monastero, an ancient female convent transformed into an aristocratic residence, and now house-museum in eclectic style, surrounded in a splendid botanic park.
